How can Eden Cards help parents or carers?

Please note that in the first sentence, above, we placed the carers or parents as the ones who are being helped, in this case, with developing their infant’s lifetime skills. The carers are the guides in this.

Chat, play, looking, discovering, a whole range of activites, need to be made available at home. These cards are just one aid that parents can call-on to help with these interactions. It is not the cards themselves that will help with home-revision of the shapes of English letters - it is the home environment and the carer&lquo;s loving support.

For those who have got this far and wonder ‘How?’ We have some suggestions.

Other sets of busy.cards are available: all are named after rivers: all have been designed as lighthearted aids, to help carers to chat with the infants in their charge. If you’d like a slightly fuller introduction to busy.cards, you might enjoy visiting our Welcome Page.
