The Eden Set of cards (at reduced size)
This set of cards—named after the river Eden—is designed for carers to support their children at home as they are learning their letters at school.
The set includes the 26 capital letters and the 26 lower-case letters. Because our printer works to 56 we have supplied four appropriate extra cards that might be useful—as skills mature.
The Eden Set of cards is complemented by the Elan Set—another river—which contains a frequency-chosen, matching, selection of lower case letters. Simple words can be made with either set, but the Eden set has only one of each letter-form.
The cards have been conceived and designed by a team of experienced teachers—who are also parents, or grandparents. The cards are sized 2.5" by 3.5" and made to the highest standards by a specialist playing-card manufacturer in the UK. They have rounded corners and the unique 'feel' of game cards. They are of a smooth and slippy finish, but are not laminated.
